9 lbs 8 oz (way to go Em!)
It’s really as good as everyone claims. Sienna, born 1 week ago today, is now my pride and joy. The way I talk about her, and the way people congratulate me, it’s as if I did something great. Turns out, I didn’t. Emily did. She’s pretty amazing. And now she’s a mom. But ya know what, I’m gonna keep on showing people I’ve barely met pictures of this little one (the background of my phone) as if I did do something great. Because I love her a whole lot. And can’t wait to hold her, and kiss her, and snuggle with her, and teach her that I’m her favorite aunt (no offense Erin
).
And explanation for the delayed post…. March 2, 2010:
I’m so exstaic about my new aunthood, I text Emily the following…
“Can I post the picture Jer sent me of Sienna on my blog??!”
Emily replies: “No…wait until I post pics first
It’s my firstborn!”
I figure it’s the least I could do for a woman who just spent over 24 hours in labor.

AHHHH I love her! She is so so cute!
hey, congrats on being at aunt.
i wish you’d posted the baby Jesus in the manger photo.
